Booking

A deposit of 50% of the trip cost which shall be paid by the Customer to Washington Llamas on or before 60 days prior to trip, or this contract will be null and void and in no way binding on the Washington Llamas representative unless accepted by him/her in its sole discretion.

Unless other arrangements have been made, the balance of the fee shall be paid on or before 30 days prior to scheduled start of the trip.

Cancellations and Refunds

The deposit shall be held by Washington Llamas for and on behalf of the Customer and applied against the total fee. In the event the Customer terminates this agreement, the following refund schedule applies:

  • Within 90 days of reservation or 5/1/2022 whichever is first, 100% refund less $50 administrative fee.
  • 120 days after reservation or 6/1/2022 whichever is first, 75% refund.
  • Cancellations after 6/1/2022 will have refunds prorated between 75% and 0% within 30 days of the start date of the trip.  For example, a cancellation two weeks before the trip would not receive a refund of the original deposit, but cancellation June 1 for a start date of August 1 would receive 75%.

In the event the Customer should desire to terminate the trip early, the WA Llamas representative will endeavor to pack or transport the Customer out of the area. However, the Customer acknowledges and understands that the decision as to when the Customer will be packed or transported out will be in the sole discretion of the Washington Llamas representative. Except for emergencies, or situations in which prior arrangements have been made, all members of a party are expected to pack in/out together on the same day.

In the event the Customer materially defaults in the performance of any of his obligations herein, Customer’s right to participate or participate further may be forthwith terminated at the sole option of the Washington Llamas representative. Under such circumstances, the Customer shall NOT be entitled to the refund of any portion of the fee. Over 4 hours late, without contact, at the trailhead would constitute default.  Inability to complete the difficulty of the trip one signed up for, and indicated their ability to complete, would also constitute default.

In the event the Washington Llamas representative materially defaults in the performance of any portion of his obligations hereunder, due to circumstances beyond representative’s control including but not limited to extreme weather, floods, fire, other acts of nature, governmental action, staff illness, equipment failure or livestock illness, the Customer shall be entitled to 100% of his fee back less $50 administrative fee. If a trip that has already been started is ended for any of the foregoing reasons, the refund will be prorated based upon the number of days remaining.

Each Customer understands that notwithstanding any other provisions of this contract the Washington Llamas representative may, at their sole discretion, return any fees paid and decline to accept Customer for any reason.
